Thu 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM
Topic: Start-up Assistance

Join us for a discussion with Brian Walsh, CTC Commercialization Consultant and Michael Hendrickson, Project Manager at BrainXell, Inc., to learn how to find and compete for federal grants and contracts that aim to advance the readiness of technologies for commercialization. It is important to understand what federal agencies are seeking and how the processes for these grants work. Brian Walsh and Michael Hendrickson will discuss what's involved in successfully competing for these non-dilutive funds and Michael’s direct experience in winning multiple SBIR grants. Join us to learn about this early-stage, pre-equity stage funding program that promotes research and developing proof of concept for technologies. This discussion will be moderated by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Kathleen Gallagher.
