Whether your business is growing or brand-new, writing a business plan is critical to building a profitable venture, especially to attract financing from lenders or investors.

The Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) is eight efficient sessions to help you develop a plan for a thriving, profitable business. In this program, you will learn to identify customers, determine their needs and analyze that information into a feasible plan for starting or growing your business.

• Organize and better manage your business.

• Identify opportunities and market your business.

• Understand and get your business financials in order.

• Get funding for your business.

• Write a detailed, comprehensive business plan OR complete a written business plan workbook.

• Network with other entrepreneurs.

• Develop a network with small business support services.

One-time Scholarship Opportunity Available There is a one-time scholarship available for this ETP course offered at Progress Lakeshore to cover the enrollment fee. A $200 scholarship from Bank First will be offered for the first 10 participants that enroll, attend and complete the course. The participant will only pay $50 payable upon registration. Included in this course is a $750 grant provided by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) with the completion of a workbook or business plan. That's $1,000 worth of business training for $50! You must both Register Online as well as Apply for the WEDC Grant to be fully registered for this course.

Bank First Scholarships are limited. Progress Lakeshore staff will contact registrants to arrange for a scholarship interview.

Course Dates: Thursday evenings starting September 22nd through November 17th. The last class on November 17 includes participation in our LevelUp Pitch Competition.
