Facilitated by Wisconsin SBDC at UW - Stevens Point Topic: Managing a Business Orientation: 5:30pm-7:00pm, Thursday, September 7, 2023 Course Time and Dates: 5:30pm - 8:30pm - Thursdays, September 21, 28, Oct 5, 12, 26, Nov 2, 9, 16, 2023 NO CLASS: OCT 19 - Use this date to catch up and get questions answered Location: Zoom This Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) is offered cooperatively by the Wisconsin Small Business Development Centers of UW-Stevens Point and UW-Green Bay. It is a 9 week course that provides an easy to follow, step by step process that shows you how to: Answer the question – "Will people buy my product or service?" Appeal to more customers Develop a lender-ready business plan Use time, money, and resources wisely Through instruction and guest speakers, the course serves those who are considering starting a business, owners of existing businesses struggling to get a handle on all the details, and those with successful companies they want to grow. We are hosting an orientation for those interested in the program and for those that have already registered. Meet the instructors and the Small Business Development Center team. Get an overview of the program, curriculum, and grant scholarship requirements. Most of all, find out how this program can help you reach your business goals. Register for the orientation! Registration Information Cost of ETP Course: The Entrepreneurial Training Program course total cost is $1000. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is offering qualified applicants Entrepreneurial Training Grants that cover 75 per cent of the $1000 tuition fee. Reducing your cost to $250. Virtual participants are responsible for buying their own textbook, so the registration fee for this virtual ETP offering is $200. Grant recipients must meet attendance requirements and complete a business plan or workbook within 90 days of course completion. If these established requirements are not met, the grant is nullified and the participant becomes responsible for the $750 payment. To Register: Space in the course is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You must register online, pay the registration fee, then work with the Green Bay SBDC for next steps on the grant process to be fully registered for this course. The ETP grant is only for businesses in the state of Wisconsin and for "for-profit" businesses or those wanting to start a "for-profit" business. Non-profits are not eligible for the ETP grant.
