The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (“SBDC”) at UWL offers a FREE “Start Strong Strategies” class to help individuals effectively build a strong business. Participants will learn how to enhance your web presence by effectively connecting with prospective customers using a website, social media, and email. A strong marketing presence includes website development, marketing and online branding, social media marketing, and email marketing. Join us to learn the marketing basics you'll need to start marketing your new business, including: 1. Identify a domain name which aligns with business name 2. Secure domain 3. Competitive analysis 4. Positioning your business in the market 5. Crafting a tagline and other key messages 6. Designing a logo and choosing a color palette 7. Setting up a free Google Business Profile 8. Building a website 9. Creating business cards, brochures, and other marketing materials 10. Develop a social media plan After completing this course, you'll have a roadmap to help you start promoting your new business and generating sales!
