QuickBooks Online (QBO) 1x1 Instructional Support and/or Technical Assistance (MSBB)

This is an applied training program that includes up to four (4) hours of 1x1 instructional support from a QBO specialist during a period of 90 days. The training and support focus will be as determined between the QBO specialist and the program participant. All training and support is virtual and/or by phone. The parties also may mutually arrange for the participant to access student support for a QBO/financial project in lieu of part of the QBO instructional support.

This program is for existing QBO users who would like to seek instruction on how to optimize their QBO use. This program is projected to support registered participants to begin around May 2024. The date listed for this workshop is stated as a placeholder as all 1x1 instructional will be arranged between the participant, UWL SBDC, and QBO specialist.

Date/time for first session: Upon registration the UWL SBDC will reach out to you to discuss a project and timeframe. The dates and times of this program and any technical assistance to be provided by a student will be as determined between the UWL SBDC, QBO specialist, and/or the program participant.

Access to additional instruction and support: In addition to 1x1 user trainings or technical assistance, participants may attend QBO Topics, Tips and Trends Forums (“QBO 3T Forums) to be held virtually in 2024. QBO 3T Forums provide opportunities for participants to learn more about a specific QBO topic, ask questions, and get additional instructional support.

Target Participants: This program provides training and instruction to enable the participant to use QBO in their business. This program is suitable for current users of QBO seeking instruction on how to optimize the functionality of QBO and newer to QBO users needing more direct support to use QBO in a specific business setting.

Expected Learning Outcomes: The expected learning outcomes for this program are tailored to the needs of the program participants and are as determined between the UWL SBDC, QBO specialist, and/or the program participant.

A confirmation email will be sent prior to the program with a follow up email sent to begin the program. Should circumstances arise that change program dates or its activities, the program provider, UW-La Crosse SBDC, will contact the program participant.

By registering for this event, the participant grants the program provider, the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, the Universities of Wisconsin, and the participating organizations (identified below), the right to use, publish, and copyright the images and comments (including print and digital written narratives, materials, audio, video, and still images) in connection with this program for use in connection with program participation (current and future), websites and for promotional and educational purposes. The participant also consents to the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center providing the participant’s contact and attendance information to the program instructors and supporters (such as students), and the participating organizations.

MSBB Training Project Eligible - This program is eligible for participant funding for Mainstreet Bounceback (MSBB) grant participants. The Universities of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) are participating organizations in connection with this program. To the extent state funding is available, MSBB grant participants may request that the state fund your participation. Payment of your program fees is contingent on confirmation that you or your affiliated business is a MSBB grant recipient and that you participated in this program on the date(s) and times(s) as arranged by the participant and the instructor/technical support provider/student. By registering for this program, you agree that you are a MSBB grant recipient and will attend the program as scheduled. Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration up to 3 business days following the initial contact to schedule the instructional and/or student support without penalty. If space is available in another program session, and as an alternative to cancellation, the program provider may allow a participant to change program date(s). Cancellations, requests, and other notice of changes for this program should be provided in writing by sending an email to sbdc@uwlax.edu.

Supplemental Training and Support. Some training programs provide participants the opportunity to access other support for a specific period following the start of the program. All supplemental support is at the option of the program participant. Program participants will be informed of when supplemental support is available and how to access such supplemental support as part of the program and/or other communications with the program provider.

Fee: $400.00 WEDC will cover registration cost of the class for Main Street Bounceback grant recipients who register for and attend the complete course.
