The Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) provides the tools you need for business idea testing and business model improvement. Through instruction, guest speakers and coaching, the course serves those who are considering starting a business, owners of existing businesses struggling to get a handle on all the details, and those with successful companies that they want to grow. The ETP program is a course that offers an easy-to-follow step-by-step process based on the Lean Startup Framework. The sessions will begin in mid March 2024. Fee is $1,000. First, register for the class below and pay the $250 fee by either credit card or check. The fee must be paid on or before the first session. Next, complete the grant application process. An SBDC representative will work with you to complete the grant paperwork.

This class will be held in a hybrid online/in-person format. Additional information on session dates/times will be provided closer to the beginning of the program. The Zoom meeting information will be included in the confirmation email sent prior to the event.

Session Details: Session 1: 03/14/24 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. - virtual session

Session 2: 03/21/24 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. - virtual session

Session 3: 03/28/24 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. - virtual session

Session 4: 04/4/24 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. - virtual session

Session 5: 04/11/24 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. - virtual session

Session 6: 04/18/24 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - in person/hybrid followed by optional networking, collaboration, and time to work on ETP workbooks.

A confirmation email with program logistics, parking information, and webinar log in information will be sent prior to the seminar with a reminder email sent the day before the event. Should circumstances arise that change program dates or its activities, the program provider, UW-La Crosse SBDC, will contact the program participants.

By registering for this event, the participant grants the program provider, the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, the Universities of Wisconsin, and the participating organizations (identified below if any), the right to use, publish, and copyright the images and comments (including print and digital written narratives, materials, audio, video, and still images) in connection with this program for use in connection with program participation (current and future), websites and for promotional and educational purposes. The participant also consents to the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center providing the participant’s contact and attendance information to the program instructors and supporters (such as students), and the participating organizations.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration up to seven business days before the start date for a refund less a 5% cancelation fee to cover administrative/processing costs. If you do not show or cancel the day of the event, you are responsible for the full fee. Cancellations, requests, and other notice of changes for this program should be provided in writing by sending an email to sbdc@uwlax.edu.
