Entrepreneurial Training Program

This 10 week program covers basic business building blocks in order to create a strong foundation for pre-venture, start-up, and existing businesses via the Lean Startup Framework. We will determine and prove value propositions, explore target markets and segments, consider operational processes, risks, sales, and marketing, and hear from industry experts that support local business owners. At the end of this class you will have a comprehensive and executable business plan with 3 years of financial projections - plus the confidence and savvy to pull it off! This class will be taught in person at the St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center, 1091 Sutherland Ave, River Falls. The ETP course fee is $1000. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation offers qualified applicants Entrepreneurial Training Grants that cover most of the $1000 course fee. The grant covers 75 percent of the tuition, reducing your cost to only $250. Grant recipients must meet attendance requirements and complete a satisfactory business plan within the given timeframe by the ETP instructor.
