The Department of Defense (DOD) SBIR and STTR programs offer a wide range of opportunities for small firms to address military needs in just about every technology area from software to training systems, from medical products to air, land and sea platforms. In order to become an eventual supplier to DOD, you need to understand how they do business and their unique language and acronyms.

You’ll learn:

  • How SBIR/STTR projects fit into the DOD’s procurement process
  • How you can “speak their language” to improve your chances of winning Phase I and Phase II
  • A review of the DOD components, like SOCOM, AFWERX, DARPA, ARMY, etc.
