Global Business Peer Group Roundtable
The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) intends to host regional meetings that convene businesses interested in global trade and will provide a confidential forum where participants are open to discuss the challenges they face as it relates to international trade, logistics, and business development.
Peer to Peer Roundtables will offer:
· Further insights into global business · A platform to learn from other practitioners · An opportunity to develop more global business · International business-related current events, barriers, and how to mitigate risk · ‘Rules of the Road’ in global trade and business development · Resources to develop your global business plan · Best practices as it relates to compliance, logistics, market development, finance
Roundtable Meeting Format: Go Global Roundtable meetings will be supported by a specialized event facilitator . Chris Wojtowicz will introduce the key topics of each meeting. Facilitated conversation among all attendees will follow. Meetings will typically last 3 hours and include beverages and a light snack. Attendees will include both small and large businesses experienced with or those desiring to gain experience in global trade, with an emphasis on exports, including trade compliance.
