Join the Rock County SBDC for a no cost lunch and learn. This event is all about how to use video to help grow your business. Video creation is essential for social media marketing success. Without video included in your strategy, a business loses out on valuable reach and engagement potential with their target audiences. Join the interns and director of the Wisconsin SBDC Digital Marketing Clinic to learn how to create short form video content using editing tools that save you time and remove annoying watermarks found with other tools. This interactive workshop will include a step-by step demonstration of how to effectively use the free version of the Capcut video editing tool. *Please download the free video editing app Capcut prior to the workshop to best follow along. Lunch will be provided. Participants will learn: Filming and file storage best practices How to use video templates Editing clips, adding text, subtitling speech Recording a voiceover and adding music How to download and share across online social media platforms Date: August 17, 2023 (11am-1pm) Presentation: 11:00 – noon Lunch and work session: noon – 1 pm Location: BlackHawk Technical College Room 1230 About the Wisconsin SBDC Digital Marketing Clinic: The Digital Marketing Clinic, founded in January 2021, is a statewide initiative of the Small Business Development Center Network. Student interns studying marketing at a UW System campus provide no-cost digital marketing services in a digital sprint format (15 hours). Since the founding, the Clinic interns have accumulated over 3,200 consulting hours, supported 1,270 jobs and have served 215 small businesses in the State of Wisconsin.
